ICE District Central Parkade

Brightly lit & security patrolled, the ICE District Central Parkade has hundreds of heated spaces and convenient access to Rogers Place and located on the north side of 103 Ave just west of 103 St. The parkade offers 6’10” (2.08 m) clearance and quick indoor access to Rogers Place via the ICE District Central Parkade P1 elevator or through the Stantec Tower Level Two pedway.

Smoking & Cannabis Policy

For the enjoyment of all of our guests, ICE District is a smoke-free environment. All forms of smoking, including the use of cannabis products and electronic cigarettes (vaping), is not permitted on ICE District property. Please be aware that guests will not be permitted to exit and re-enter the venue during events.

Is this a family friendly event?

Yes, people of all ages are welcome at the maze.


Will there be entertainment?

Yes! In addition to the snow maze there will also be snow slides,photo opportunities, food and beverages available for purchase, fire pits, and winter games.


Do you accept cash on-site?

This will be a cashless event, please plan accordingly for your trip.


Can I leave and re-enter the maze area?

Re-entry to the maze area is not permitted.


Can I bring alcoholic beverages to the snow maze?

No, outside alcoholic beverages are not permitted inside the event area.


Can I bring my pet to the snow maze?

Unfortunately no, pets (with the exception of service animals) are not permitted on site at Snow Way Out.


Will there be food and beverage available on site?

Yes, food and beverages will be available for purchase inside the event area.


Can I take photos and videos?

Absolutely! We encourage you to take photos of your experience at Snow Way Out. Don’t forget to tag us @IceDistrict or by using #SnowWayOut


I found a lost item at the maze, where should I take it?

Guests who have lost or found an item can bring the item to any staff working the event located by the entrance.


I have lost an item, where can I find it?

If you are still on site, check in with the box office during operational hours.

Are there any ticket packages available?

A General Admission package for Families is available for $45 (up to 2 adults & up to 2 kids).

Discounts are available for students and seniors.


Do children need their own ticket?

Children two years old and younger do not need a ticket to visit Snow Way Out.


Can I purchase tickets at the door or do I have to pre-book tickets?

All tickets will be sold digitally and tickets are not available at the door.


Do you offer time slot booking?

All general admission tickets to Snow Way Out are booked by time slot (date and time). This helps us manage the area’s capacity.

Guests must arrive on their chosen date within their time slot to ensure entry to the area but are welcome to stay as long as they like.


What happens if I miss my timeslot or arrive late?

You are able to enter Snow Way Out within the timeframe of your purchased time slot. If you arrive late, please see our Box Office team at the entrance.


How will I receive my tickets?

Tickets will all be managed through your Ticketmaster Account

What does a ticket to Snow Way Out include?

Your ticket includes access to the site at your chosen date & time as well as access to all activities therein including the snow maze, snow slides, photo opportunities, fire pits, and winter games.

Food and beverages will also be available for purchase on site.


I can’t come anymore, can I get a refund or reschedule?

All tickets are non-refundable.


Is my general admission ticket transferable?

Yes, tickets will be transferable through your Ticketmaster Account

Is the entire event outdoors?

Yes, the snow maze and all activities take place outdoors. Don’t forget to dress for the weather!


Do you allow strollers?

Yes! Strollers are permitted onsite, however since the floor of the maze is made with snow, conditions there may be uneven surfaces.


Is there a place to sit or rest?

There will be opportunities throughout the event site to sit down or rest.


Will restrooms be available on-site?

Yes, public washrooms are available onsite.


Is the snow maze wheelchair accessible?

Yes! The maze will be wheelchair accessible, however since the floor of the maze is made with snow, conditions may change for wheelchair access from day to day in response to the weather.

Additional details:

  • The maze will be ADA compliant with a caution for winter conditions with uneven surfaces.
  • The maze will be level, will not contain ramps, and will have 4 ft between the walls.
  • The floor will be hard-packed snow on the asphalt surface which may be lined with gravel depending on weather conditions.
  • We do not recommend wheelchair access if the weather is warm which will cause the snow to be more difficult to navigate.
  • The Winter Festival Group is working with the City of Edmonton Accessibility Advisory Committee to come up with better solutions for outdoor winter sites.

Will you run the event if the forecast is calling for bad weather?

Outdoor event cancellation may occur should dangerous conditions arise (i.e. winds greater than 50 km/hr or temperatures -20 or lower including wind chill).

We will make announcements on social media as well as this webpage with updates. Stay tuned to @IceDistrict across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates.

If there is a cancellation for your time slot, Ticketmaster will issue a refund to the original purchase account.
