Edmonton's Summer of Soccer - World Cup Watch Parties in ICE District

IT’S THE SUMMER OF SOCCER IN EDMONTON

WORLD CUP WATCH PARTIES, CANADA CELEBRATES EVENT AND MORE

JUNE 11 TO JULY 19 IN ICE DISTRICT

OEG Sports & Entertainment, the City of Edmonton and Explore Edmonton announced that Edmonton’s Summer of Soccer will kick off in ICE District from June 11 to July 19.

The celebration includes 97 free, all-ages World Cup Watch Parties, with at least 17 featured matches hosted inside The Tent at Fan Park @ ICE District, including every Team Canada game, along with community soccer programming for kids and a special Canada Celebrates event on July 1. Fans attending watch parties in Fan Park can enjoy food trucks, beverages, DJ entertainment, face painting and more, with gates opening 60 minutes before kickoff to allow plenty of time to take in the festivities.

All 80 other games will be shown on the Rogers Place terminus screen in ICE District Plaza, apart from seven games that start after 9:00 PM MT, due to noise restrictions. View ICE District Plaza schedule.

 *These games are not being shown due to the City of Edmonton Noise bylaw which only permits noise until 10:00 PM.
