Edmonton's Summer of Soccer

Following Canada’s 2-0 Send-Off Series victory versus Uzbekistan on Monday in front of over 46,000 fans at Commonwealth Stadium, OEG Sports & Entertainment, the City of Edmonton and Explore Edmonton announced today that Edmonton’s Summer of Soccer continues in ICE District from June 11 to July 19.
Edmonton’s Summer of Soccer will feature 97 free World Cup Watch Parties for all ages, with at least 17 special games in The Tent in Fan Park @ ICE District—including all Team Canada’s matches. The footie festivities will also include a special Canada Celebrates event on July 1, and community soccer programming for kids.
World Cup Watch Parties in the Tent at Fan Park @ ICE District will feature food trucks, beverages, DJ entertainment, face painting and more. Gates will open 60 minutes prior to kickoff, giving fans plenty of time to gather and enjoy the festivities before the matches begin.
