Hoop CIty 3×3

April 28, 2024 (Edmonton, AB) – Do North Events in partnership with Explore Edmonton, City of Edmonton, Government of Alberta, and Canada Basketball announce today that spectator tickets and team registration are now on sale for Hoop City 3×3, July 5-7, taking place in the heart of downtown at Fan Park @ ICE District.

The largest 3×3 basketball event in Canada will feature once again the FIBA 3×3 World Tour and FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series – showcasing the best international teams from around the world in their last stop before the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.  Adding to the excitement will be 250 community teams competing for hardcourt glory. Registration is open to youth or adults, including male, female, and co-ed teams, and a wheelchair division added this year. All participants will receive complimentary passes for the FIBA 3×3 World Tour and FIBA 3×3 Women’s Series.

We eagerly anticipate furthering the advancement of basketball and women’s sports right here in Edmonton.”

It was awesome being able to watch our nephew and friends play in the Hoop City 3×3 tournament as we took care of business on the big stage,” said Team Canada’s Katherine Plouffe. “We are standing on the shoulders of everyone who have sown belief and strength into our lives as we’ve worked hard to blaze a trail! Last year’s final was one of the hardest yet, against team China. Surely the teams will bring their best again.”
