WHAT: 2023 Pride Cup
The second annual Pride Cup is set to take place in ICE District Plaza on August 27, with another thrilling edition of the Battle of Alberta in support of diversity, equity and inclusion. In partnership with the Edmonton Oilers and Pride Tape, this year’s event will feature multiple games including a media vs community leader game, an Edmonton Oilers and Edmonton Oil Kings alumni game, and the main event will see the Edmonton Rage defend their Pride Cup championship title against the Calgary Pioneers. There may even be some surprise guests from the current Oilers organization in attendance.
Mark your calendars for this OEG Sports & Entertainment signature event with gates to ICE District Plaza opening at 10:00 AM, and puck drop at 1:15 PM on Sunday, August 27. Don’t miss out on the celebration of diversity and inclusivity, and love for the sport!

Celebrating Pride 365 in Edmonton in true ICE District fashion, the Pride Cup ball hockey championship proudly supports diversity, equity and inclusion through sport. In addition to the three feature games, the event will feature a Drag Brunch, live entertainment, Oilers alumni, food, cold beverages, and more!
