United by Hockey Mobile Museum
Part of the NHL’s Hockey Is For Everyone™ initiative, the United by Hockey Mobile Museum, which celebrates hockey’s trailblazers, changemakers and business leaders spanning multiple underrepresented and multicultural demographics, will arrive in ICE District on March 25. The free, non-ticketed fan festival will be open to the public.
“Each year we challenge ourselves to create new opportunities to celebrate the diversity within our game,” said Jeff Scott, NHL Vice President, Community Development & Growth. “Our re-envisioned, professionally curated United by Hockey Mobile Museum showcases many of the individuals who have blazed new trails and those who continue to influence our game, our business and our commitment to ensuring that Hockey Is For Everyone™.”
The traveling museum is a unique experience that showcases 840 square feet of history, including exclusive artifacts from players from an array of backgrounds; video components; an interactive broadcast booth; and a look at the next generation of young stars, NHL Officials, broadcasters and women in the game. The museum also features one-of-a-kind hockey card collections from collectors across North America, highlighting players from underrepresented demographics.
