EXCITING EVENTS FOR ALL IN THE HEART OF EDMONTON

OEG Sports & Entertainment is thrilled to announce the Summer SolstICE event series in ICE District for 2024. Alongside an impressive lineup of top-tier concerts at Rogers Place, ICE District Plaza and Fan Park will be the vibrant hub for incredible outdoor events throughout the summer, bringing the Edmonton community together once again to socialize and revel in the heart of the city.

The transformed ICE District Plaza will host an array of summer events, including:

Punk in Drublic
August 10 & 11

Location: Fan Park

The final Canadian performances ever for NOFX will begin at Fan Park @ ICE District in Edmonton, AB. NOFX will perform forty songs a night, including full albums and rarities at all shows during the NOFX Final Tour, plus they will never repeat a setlist to ensure that each show is unique.

ICE District Classic
August 16–18

Location: Fan Park @ ICE District

Join us for the Second Annual ICE District Classic for a weekend of exciting games. Teams of 10 players will compete in 30-minute games with 10-minute intervals. Registration is $250 per team, with individual sign-ups for minors available. New features include three 100′ x 40′ playing surfaces with full NHL-sized boards. Enjoy food trucks, beer gardens and more!

Immersive Cinema Experience
August 25 & September 7

Location: ICE District Plaza

Get your date or friends together for an immersive experience of some of the most popular family movies including themed décor and food and beverage, movie characters and much more.

August 25: Trolls Band Together
September 7: The Garfield Movie

The event is free to attend and no ticket is required. The movie will be presented with closed captions.

Pride Cup
August 17

Location: Fan Park @ ICE District

The third annual Pride Cup is set to take place in ICE District Plaza on August 17, with another thrilling edition of the Battle of Alberta in support of diversity, equity and inclusion. In partnership with the Edmonton Oilers and Pride Tape, this year’s event will feature multiple games including a media vs community leader game, an Edmonton Oilers alumni vs MacEwan game, and the main event will see the Edmonton Rage look to reclaim their Pride Cup championship title against the Calgary Pioneers.

The event is free to attend and no ticket is required.

Oktoberfest @ ICE District presented by Condor Airlines

Western Canada’s largest Oktoberfest celebration is returning to Fan Park @ ICE District! Bigger and better than ever, Edmontonians will have the chance to immerse themselves in the rich heritage of Oktoberfest—experiencing the warmth and hospitality of Germany right here in the heart of ICE District.
